Re: Consumer Contact List - FCC Reminder about Emergency Access

The FCC has issued a new reminder about the need for television providers to provide their emergency television programming accessible. This reminder differs from those that preceded it because it discusses the types of emergencies that are covered, making clear that the sniper events of last Fall and terror reporting must be covered. I have requested that the Enforcement Bureau send copies of this reminder to national television trade associations.
