1. FCC releases request for comment on VRS answer speed - The FCC has requested the public to comment on a number of issues related to how quickly video relay service calls should be answered. Comments are due on February 25, 2005 and reply comments are due on March 4, 2005. A link to the public notice is listed below.

2. Dane Snowden to depart FCC - Dane Snowden, Chief of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, has announced that he will leave the FCC in March. There is no immediate word of his replacement.
