Handset Tips

  • We studied 7 current cell phones at the SHHH convention (21 people,various hearing aids)

    • The one preferred was the Motorola i1000 plus for NexTel.

    • Note: this model no longer shows up on the Motorola website for iDEN phones.

  • This and other models of flip phone with no electronics in the flip-up part seem to work relatively well (for CDMA and iDEN).
