Accessibility Recommendations

  • Relay services

    • Architecture should support location identification by the PSAP of users of all IP-based relay services, on a par with voice service capability

    • Architecture should support one-step call to 9-1-1 while invoking a relay service

    • (Farther out) Ideally PSAP that is video equipped could see the video caller and hear the interpreter

    • (No recommendations made about single call center, specialists or other operational issues.)
