  • Gateway conversion recommended

• Wireless: It would "ease the transition" to build TTY calling capability into smartphones (SK, Blackberry, Treo for example) in the meantime

  • Location identification is provided already

  • PSAPs already equipped to take the call

  • Network already equipped to handle TTY

  • Just the handset need software changes
