Wireless

• Wireless is an important tool for all people.

• People in general have come to depend on it so much for emergency communications that the FCC has required the wireless industry and the PSAP community to improve mobile location identification. 

• There are many new functionalities such as mobile text brand, in the near future, mobile video. These along with small size and lowering costs provide special advantages for people with disabilities.

• But for people with disabilities, there are some accessibility problems.  And emergency services start with the ability to make a call – to use the phones that exist around us.
