Re: Consumer Contact List - Localism Hearing in San Antonio

Date: December 19, 2003

Below is information about the upcoming localism hearing that the FCC will be holding in San Antonio. This hearing will provide an opportunity to tell the FCC what your community's needs are with respect to television programming. Some issues that you may want to address are: increased video description, real time captioning of local news, and visual and aural access to emergency programming. If you are interested in speaking, I recommend informing the designated individuals as soon as possible. Also, if you need a sign language interpreter for the hearing, contact Helen Chang: helen.chang@fcc.gov.
