TRS Orders; Section 255 Contacts; Captioning Exemptions To: Consumer Contact List 1. TRS Orders - Today, the FCC released two orders on TRS. The first is a rate order that has not yet been released electronically. The order reduces the reimbursement rate for video relay services (VRS) from the $8.85 per minute set retroactively for 2003-04 to $7.29 per minute. This rate is interim only, subject to change, depending on additional information that can be give to the Commission from VRS providers. The order also sets rates for traditional and Internet TRS (same rate for both) and speech-to-speech relay. CapTel relay services use the traditional TRS rate.
