1. Omnibus TRS Report and Order - Here is a link to a detailed summary of the FCC's recent omnibus Report and Order (released on June 30, 2004. Some of you may have already received one of my summaries of this Order. Please note that this one is slightly different (more condensed).

At the same time that the FCC released this Order, it released a second Order, reducing the compensation rate for video relay services from $8.85/minute to $7.29 per minute.

2. Petition for Video Mail - On March 31, 2004, Hands On VRS filed a petition with the FCC asking for the FCC to declare video mail provided over VRS eligible for compensation from the Interstate TRS Fund.
