Survey was designed for both experienced and novice ALD users…

• Photos included for identification of types of ALDs and hearing aids;

• Open ended responses permitted so that expertise/knowledge of terminology not required;

• But those who took the time to answer this survey tended to be experienced.

• Since survey was on the web, respondents were relatively technology savvy to begin with.
