• In 2002 FCC authorized web access to relay services

• A browser can be used for the text component of the relay service

• Relay companies are working on interfaces to web-enabled wireless devices

• This will provide an option for calling to voice numbers

• Relay-to-9-1-1 issues still difficult

• Coverage will remain an issue for awhile
