Relay Services and 9-1-1

• Some countries use the relay service to mediate 9-1-1 calls

• In the U.S., networks do not support tying the relay in when 9-1-1 is dialed.

• Support for relay mediation would permit video relay service

• As technology changes, the relay service would change to fit the needs of the population
