Direct TTY to IVR in Baudot recordings – Con’t

• It is common for TTY users to press the “1” key on the TTY keyboard when the system prompts to “Press 1 for …” (which does not work as it sends in Baudot).

• For those who know how to send DTMF, some of them may not know they can press DTMF during a TTY recording. They tend to wait until “GA” before sending touchtones (because of the expectation that TTY cannot be interrupted).
