Streaming devices

This is the sixth video in an 8-part video series on telecommunications for hearing device users. Each of the videos is captioned. If the captions are not visible when you start the video, click on the Closed Caption (CC) icon.

Streamers and transceivers for use with hearing devices are becoming an increasingly popular way to connect to Bluetooth devices. A streamer can have many different functions: as a remote control, as a way to listen to audio from Bluetooth devices, and as a device for telephone listening. Streamers can have different functions and variety in what they can and cannot do, as well as, differences in cost, compatibility and battery life.
