Problems with Cell Phones and Hearing Aids
Radio frequency energy around the antenna is picked up by the hearing aid, which turns it into a buzzing sound.
Some cell phones have HAC built in, some do not.
Many cell phones create magnetic interference in the
t-coil from displays, the battery, and/or internal electronics.
