• Frame rate for signing:

  • Below 8 fps, useless for signing

  • 9-12 limited usability

  • 12-20 usable with constraints

  • >20 good usability

• For Fingerspelling

  • >20 necessary due to fast rate (at least 2 pictures per letter)

• For Lipreading

  • 15 fps is good, small improvements at higher rates
