CALLING 9-1-1 on IP

- Currently it is not possible to call into 9-1-1 from many VoIP services

But this was seen as unacceptable by many for mainstream and actions are being taken to address this for all VoIP users.

So this will be solved soon
TEXT

Currently there is no way to text into emergency services, except TTY and that is by government order.

But TTY is falling into disuse as IP is growing and IP-based relay services are growing.

Hopefully, the VoIP solutions will allow IP-relay services to eventually connect to 9-1-1

Still have IPtext standardization issues (more in a bit)

Video Relay services have the same problem as IP-Relay and VoIP.

Again hopefully these will all be addressed together.
